🌸 Owning Your Voice, Cultivating Your Future
Lately, I’ve been sitting with a heavy but liberating thought:
I know I have a lot to offer — maybe I’ve just been offering it to the wrong people.
It’s hard to hold grace for others when you’re not met with the same energy. But then I remember: I, too, have asked for grace before. So the real question becomes: when is it too much?
🌀 Learning My Own Rhythm
I feel everything intensely. My reactions are quick, fiery, sometimes sharp. Because of that, I’ve learned to give myself a pause before making decisions.
Two to three days. That’s my sweet spot.
If clarity doesn’t come by then, I’ve realized the answer is usually no.
That pause is my power. It’s how I return to myself.
đź’¬ Communication Styles (And the Non-Communicator)
My communication style is rooted in curiosity. The more I ask, the more clarity I gain. But what happens when the other person avoids depth altogether?
When someone proudly calls themselves a “bad communicator,” what they’re really saying is: I don’t want to do the work.
The truth? You move on.
You can’t beg someone to be better. That’s not love — that’s control.
Instead, you can:
🌸 Express what would make you feel safe.
🌸 Watch what they do with that information.
🌸 Accept their choice as your answer.
No chasing. No begging. Just alignment with your own worth. And sometimes? That means walking away — from work, business, romance, friendship, or even family.
✨ The Shift: Asking People vs Declaring Truth
Here’s the breakthrough: the issue isn’t that I’m asking the wrong person. The issue is that I’m asking a person at all.
What I want must be declared. Spoken out loud. Written in ink. Claimed as mine.
Only then can I begin cultivating the future I desire.
Because life is nothing more than cause and effect, shaped by the actions you take toward the future you’ve chosen.
🌿 A Ritual Practice for You (and Me)
🌸 Write it down → your desires, your vision, your future.
🌸 Let it guide you → read it back often.
🌸 Reflect as you go → notice how it shifts as you evolve.
🌸 Edit ruthlessly → remove what no longer fits.
Life is fleeting. Don’t let others dictate how you spend it.
🌸 Final Word
Your life is yours. Own it. Declare it. Treasure it.
